If you need a mortgage, go nowhere else other than George.I have known George and his Dad for a while now as we did some work together a few years ago, which is why I was a little hesitant to write this review, as I didn’t want to appear biased, but after the job he has done it felt unfair not to.I was employed for a number of years before going self employed recently. As such I didn’t have the required 24 months worth of filing to be able to get a mortgage so the plan was to do it solely in my wife’s name. However there were a few problems with the lender wanting me on the mortgage if I lived at the property so on I went.George then had to work miracles to get a whole host of exceptions made on my company structure, length of trading, source of dividends and a few other bits which in reality I never thought he would manage.His honesty, attention to detail and unwillingness to know when to stop fighting for his clients is remarkable and it’s my belief if we would have had anyone else dealing with our application we wouldn’t have got over one of the seven or eight hurdles George managed to navigate, let alone all of them!He is a credit to the business, but also the industry that sometimes gets a bit of an unfair hammering, and I have already recommended him to someone else about to remortgage and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to others. I will 100% going with him when I am due to remortgage!

I cannot recommend Freelancer Financials, and in particular George enough!We found our perfect house after one viewing, but that was the only part of the journey that was smooth.There were issues with developers, employment history’s, changes in employment, temporary secondments where additional income couldn’t be included and changes in ownership structures for my husband who is self employed, as had only been for 12 months, another issue, but George went to battle for us.He managed to argue our case on several separate occasions, he communicated wonderfully, he never over promised, but always over delivered! I can say with all certainty, if we had had any other mortgage broker we would not have a mortgage and would not have managed to complete on our home. We owe him a huge amount and will be forever grateful for all his hard work!Although it was painful at times, not at all because of George, we already know when our fixed term is up we won’t be going anywhere other the George to help us through this process again.
